The 1997 World Tour

Camel has finished it 1997 world tour in April. Attempts were made to make a short tour through South America, but this fell through eventually.
A double Live CD and a Video, entitled Coming of Age was released on March 15, 1998.
Foss Patterson and Dave Stewart have expressed their enjoyment playing on the Camel lineup, and there's always the possibility that they would like to work on future albums and perform some more with Camel.

A few notes from CP suggest that the latest tour was probably the last Camel tour. Due to the stress and financial burden such a tour inflicts on the band, it seems unlikely that they'd like to go through it once again. But after all, the band enjoyed the tour immensely, just as the fans did. As reported from the last gig in Rotheram, Andrew Latimer said Camel will come there again in 1998. Further good news are that two agencies contacted Camel with interest of future performances.

Due to financial and scheduling difficulties, the 1997 tour was not accompanied with a tour program.
